My fancy indoor bike has a giant android-powered touch display built in, but comes locked to the iFit app by default. There’s a way to unlock admin mode to expose the full android UI, but Nordictrack recently pushed an update that blocks that. There’s a way around it, so I spent some time messing around with unlocking it just out of principle. I get why they lock it - it’s incredibly underpowered as a device, but has enough resources to run iFit.
