Revising a profile for Learning Technologies Specialist, with a focus on program innovation, to be posted asap…
Preparing for the LTAC meeting next week.
Some analysis of D2L data, to figure out how often the “no backsies” setting in quizzes is being set. Turns out, about 7% of quizzes are configured to not allow students to review previous questions…
Planning classroom AV prototyping and evaluation in the TI, and how to design technology to keep it mobile and available for use across campus.
Working on a COVID chapter, and planning the remaining chunks. I’ve got the high level narrative flow designed for the whole dissertation, significant portions of a few chapters in place, placeholders for the rest. Now to block out time and actually write it out…

Mom’s seniors home is now in “green”, so they now allow limited visits with up to 5 people. Outside. In winter. So, she scheduled an appointment to reserve Visiting Area #2, and I stopped by to see her. She got really cold, so she had to head back inside after 15 minutes. It’s better than nothing, but good lord this COVID stuff is hard.
I’ve been using my iPad as a second display through Sidecar, which works great, but apparently causes Notes to freak out and peg the CPU and spin the fan for some reason. Switching to Gallery view in Notes seems to help, or disconnecting Sidecar. Sounds like a stupid bug in Notes. Sounds like this happens with any mac that has a second display? Crazy.
🗓️ Focus for next week
- LTAC meeting, with an activity to help prioritize the work of my team based on feedback from the committee.
