Evan and I spent a couple of hours exploring Bowness Park (and Baker’s Park across the river from Bowness Park). He was convinced that some of the rocks that were used to make the artificial peninsulas along the river bank on the south side were from space. SPACE! He explained how they were little “space shuttles” – he even had proof – if I put my hand on them, I could still feel the heat from their trip through the atmosphere. He was also very careful to lead the way, pointing out the safe rocks to step on.
